Local Sync Observer is free software provided under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute it under that license.

Observation is not a backup

The app reports evidence exposed by local tools and folder metadata. Coverage can be incomplete, stale, or unavailable. “Converged” means the connected provider reported zero pending items and no recognized conflict-copy filename was found during the capped scan; it is not a guarantee against loss. Keep independent backups.

No remediation

The observer does not sync, rename, merge, or delete files. You remain responsible for changes made in an owning sync tool.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent allowed by law. The full MIT terms are included with the source.
